Channels
A channel is a place where you promote merchants: a website, an Instagram account, a newsletter, an app. Every affiliate network keeps its own copy of your channel; Aggrefine puts them together, so a channel’s merchants, products and tracking links come from all your networks. Every product request names a channel. The response includes only merchants that channel is approved for, and each tracking link is the one for that channel.Products
A product is everything sold under one GTIN (the EAN or UPC barcode). GTINs are always 14 digits, zero-padded; you can ask for a shorter code and it is padded for you. The product’stitle, brand, description and images come from the merchant that changed
its offer most recently. description is cleaned to simple HTML (p, ul, b, a…) and is safe
to render.
